Oak Point Developments is a family-run full-service property management company. With a growing portfolio of meticulously curated properties in Edmonton, Oak Point Developments delivers a personal and worry-free experience for new and current tenants.

We believe when you rent a suite from Oak Point Developments, we will give you extraordinary customer service for a high-quality rental experience as we strive to treat each tenant like family, and service is what makes us different from the large property management companies out there. We abide by a strict code of conduct to ensure that our residents have a positive experience while living in our apartments. In all things that we do, the safety, security, and well being of our residents takes top priority over everything else.

Oak Point has been in the rental business since 2005 and as you can see by our reviews page we have many long-term tenants that love the direction, vision and service that they receive. We believe in the Golden Rule: "Treat others as you would like to be treated!"

Crimes Free Program with the Edmonton City Police

OakPoint has been, and continues to be a part of The Crime Free Multi-Housing Program with the Edmonton City Police Service since 2008. This reinforces our commitment to the safety and quality of life we provide our tenants.

What does this program mean to you as a future tenant?

What makes us different?

First, we are very focused on customer service as we will make sure that all of our clients get the service they deserve once they move in to one of our properties. Whether it’s answering a simple question, or a maintenance issue - each property has its own site manager tasked with taking care of our tenants and the properties.

Secondly, we are always improving or renovating our properties and the grounds. We believe this keeps our properties from looking dated, run down or neglected, ensuring a high quality of living for our tenants.

Third, we believe that our maintenance team is the best in the city.
If any of our tenants have an issue, they will always receive a response from us with in a few hours of their phone call or email, which at that point, our tenants concern has been fixed or dealt within 48 hours Monday through Friday!

Fourth, we don’t just accept any application as we want to make sure that we don’t upset our long-term tenants just to fill a vacancy within the building.

We are very proud to say that our average vacancy rate since 2005 has been 2.7%.
If you compare that to The City of Edmonoton average, over the same period of time, that average is 5.88%.

We like to think that shows that we are not losing tenants because they are unhappy with us but things in life have changed and they need to move. We have many long term tenants which have been with us since 2005.

Our average vacancy for the last 5 years sits at 1.2% and the city average is 6.4%.
This period of time does include the crazy time of COVID when the world was upside down in 2020 and 2021 where the vacancy jumped to almost 14% here in Edmonton.
